A former professional dancer and a bodybuilder, Dom Orejudos, under the pseudonyms Etienne and Stephen, was a pioneer of gay erotic illustration. His illustrations reflected his affinity for leather, and he was instrumental in opening the Gold Coast, Chicago’s first leather bar, as well as organizing the International Mister Leather contest. He created a series of comics, some of which featured his character Meatman, and his work is included in various books about erotic art.
