Craig Esposito seems to have worked often in the 1970s illustrating covers of explicit “gay pulps,” a number of which are about transgender characters, with titles like She Had Balls, She-Male Servant and The “Girl” Next Door, as well as self-described “Man to Man” novels like Drury Lane: A Gay Romance. He created illustrations for the first wave of gay porn magazines, none of them as skilled as this image from the 1980s.
